Gasha is an independent, non-government, publicly beneficial NGO, working in accordance with the human values it has adopted, to develop management and educational systems for the work of institutions and individuals by developing local capacities to bring them to high-effective experiences to increase GDP within the framework of environmental protection. Gasha is a Kurdish word and means the word Kasha in English (growth), and the organization's logo symbolizes the green paper surrounded by blue lines of varying staging, and our organization has chosen this slogan to denote growth and sustainability in development and improvement.

The objectives of the organization

  • 1. Support communities by providing mechanisms to develop the capacity of low-income families by providing sustainable and economic development programs.
  • 2. Providing administrative and logistical support to the administrative staff of organizations and institutions working in the fields of sustainable development and economic improvement.
  • 3. Work to preserve, protect, develop and improve economic resources.
  • 4. Work to transfer modern technologies in the fields of sustainable development and economic improvement from research centers and universities to the fields of work.
  • 5. Training organizations on how to solve problems and challenges during the project implementation period.
  • 6. Providing administrative, technical and logistical support for projects aimed at improving the economic and development sectors.

Means of achieving goals

  • 1. Writing about who we are, what our values are, who we serve and how we implement programs and projects.
  • 2. Relying on databases and studying the local market in the planning process and implementing the organization's programs.
  • 3. Access to the most needed community segments through the survey is transparent in the process of collecting information.

Terms of membership

  • 1. The member must be of Iraqi nationality or resident of Iraq.
  • 2. Complete 18 years of age and full eligibility.
  • 3. Accept the organization's rules of procedure in writing.
  • 4. Be of good conduct and behavior.
  • 5. Not sentenced to a misdemeanor of honor or a non-political felony.
  • 6. Fill out the affiliation form.

Expiry cases

  • 1. In the event of death.
  • 2. If the resignation request is submitted.
  • 3. If convicted of a misdemeanor of honour or a non-political felony.
  • 4. If it harms the organization in any way.The end of membership is by a decision of the Administrative Authority by a simple majority.

Members' rights

  • 1. Obtaining the identity of the organization.
  • 2. Participating in events, conferences and seminars inside and outside Iraq.
  • 3. Participating in opinions and putting changes in the rules of procedure in place.

Members' duties

  • 1. Adherence to the rules of procedure and the instructions issued.
  • 2. Respect for members and preservation of the organization's property.
  • 3. Participation in activities and good conduct and conduct.
  • 3. Inform the management of the organization when changing the member's work or residence

Organizational structure

A. The founding Authority:

The Authority that signed the founding statement and consists of a minimum of three members and whose validity is:

  • 1. Appointment of members of the administrative Authority.
  • 2. Make suggestions and discuss reports.
  • 3. Supervising the work of the administrative Authority.
B. General Authority:

It consists of members of the organization, including the founding Authority and the administrative Authority.

C. The powers of the General Authority:
  • 1. Identify a regular meeting and an unusual meeting when needed.
  • 2. Supervising the budget and approving the budget.
  • 3. Issuing the necessary decisions for the organization's work and annual reports.
  • 4. Discussion and policy-making of the organization.
D. The administrative Authority:

It is an Authority that is appointed by the General Authority and has (3) members.

E. The powers of the administrative Authority:
  • 1. Distribution of committees and appointment of committee managers.
  • 2. Supervising the organization's activities.
  • 3. Implementing policy and programme on projects that are consistent with the objectives of the organization.
F. The powers of the head of the administrative Authority (President of Organization):
  • 1. Chairs the meetings of the administrative Authority and calls an emergency meeting.
  • 2. Representing the organization with governmental and non-governmental organizations and institutions.
  • 3. Supervising the work of the organization and the related committees.
  • 4. Signing correspondences and instruments.
  • 5. Open a bank account for the Organization.
G. The Powers of the Vice President of the Administrative Board:

Replaces the President in his absence

H. Detailed powers for committees or departments:
  • 1. The Administrative Committee, which organizes administrative affairs from the issuer and ward, documents activities and receives applications for affiliation and printing. etc.
  • 2. The Finance Committee is working to organize the financial records and submit them to the administrative Authority for approval.
  • 3. The Cultural Committee organizes cultural courses, festivals, conferences and lectures.
  • 4. The Committee on Relations and Information, which organizes relations with civil society organizations and institutions and issues cultural bulletins. Or any committee or mechanism that the organization considers to organize its work.
I. Decision-making mechanism:
  • 1. The decisions of the General Authority are issued by a simple majority.
  • 2. The decisions of the administrative Authority are issued by a simple majority.
J. The mechanism of meetings:
  • 1. The General Authority meets its annual regular meeting and achieves a quorum of 50%+1 of its members and in the event of incomplete quorum, the meeting is postponed until the following week and the meeting is considered to be held no matter how many attendees.
  • 2. The General Authority meets an emergency meeting in the event of a written request by the President of the Organization, by two thirds of the members of the General Authority or by two thirds of the board members.
  • 3. Members of the Administrative Authority meet at their regular meeting every month.
  • 4. The emergency board meeting is held at the invitation of the President or at the request of two members.
  • 5. The quorum is achieved in the presence of half of the members of the Administrative Authority.
K. The recruitment mechanism:
  • 1. Members of the Administrative Authority are appointed by the Founding Authority.
  • 2. The Founding Authority distributes positions to the members of the Administrative Authority appointed by them.
  • 3. The number of members of the Administrative Authority consists of (3) three members for a period of (4) four years.
  • 4. In the event of a vacancy in the seats of a member of the Administrative Authority, the Founding Authority appoints a replacement for the vacant member.
  • 5. In the event of the interruption or death of all founders, the general Authority shall be empowered to appoint members of the Administrative Authority.
L. The mechanism for modifying the Bylaw Governance:

The mechanism for amending the rules of Bylaw Governance is the power of the Administrative Authority to vote by a simple majority.

M. Determining the entity within the organization that appoints the affiliates and determines their wages:

The power to appoint associates and employees, determine their wages and dispense with them is the prerogative of the head of the Administrative Authority.

Financial resources of the organization

  • 1. Member contributions of 25,000 Iraqi dinars per year.
  • 2. Donations, grants, wills, donations and unconditional gifts internally and externally.
  • 3. The revenue resulting from the organization’s activities and projects.

LIQUIDATION, MERGE, FRAGMENTATION AND TRANSFER OF FUNDS WITHIN THE ORGANIZATION

  • 1. The Authority responsible for deciding the Liquidation, merge, fragmentation and transfer of funds within the organization is the Administrative Authority unanimously.
  • 2. The organization's funds after its liquidation, are transferred to a similar organization in objectives and activity and registered in the NGO department selected by the Administrative Authority by a simple majority.

Open branches of the organization

  • 1. The organization has the right to open branches inside and outside the Republic of Iraq.
  • 2. The Authority responsible for opening branches is the administrative Authority and the decision is issued with the approval of a simple majority.
  • 3. The 2 members of the branch's Administrative Authority are (appointed) by the Administrative Authority for a period of 2 years.
  • 4. The membership of the administrative Authority of the branch is terminated by decision of the Administrative Authority and by a simple majority when the cases listed below are verified:
    • A. Death.
    • B. Resignation.
    • C. Not attending three consecutive meetings.
    • D. Failure to comply with the rules of procedure.
  • 5. The head of the branch is granted the powers described below:
    • A. Branch management and supervision.
    • B. Signing of letters issued by the branch.
    • C. Withdrawal and deposit from the branch's bank account.
    • D. Representing the organization in the province where the branch is held and attending conferences and seminars.
    • E. Follow-up and implementation of decisions issued by the Administrative Authority of headquarter.
    • F. Has the right to authorize a member of the administrative Authority of the branch to exercise his duties in the event of his absence and under a writing letter.
  • 6. The branch is financially and administratively linked to the general management of the headquarter.
  • 7. The authority responsible for closing the branch is the Administrative Authority and the decision is issued by a simple majority and its funds are transferred to the headquarter.
